As the Department of Management Information Systems, our aim is to provide our students with a high-quality education that enables them to classify and interpret information while keeping up with developments in management and information technologies. One of the fundamental objectives of Management Information Systems is to educate dynamic professionals who follow developments in technology and information systems and integrate them with organizational structures and management perspectives; develop new business models; analyze business information systems to solve organizational problems; design and develop information systems; solve problems; and generate innovative solutions. Our program is equipped with a curriculum that maintains a balanced combination of management and computer science courses to prepare students for evolving business information systems. Management science, economics, marketing, computer programming techniques, systems design, and database management are among the courses offered.

Information systems have become an integral part of every stage of our daily lives and significantly affect the way we live. Decision support systems, which provide decision-makers with essential data and information, have also become widely used in organizations and institutions. All these developments have increased the demand for Management Information Systems graduates in both the public and private sectors. Consequently, there is a growing need for professionals who can design, develop, and utilize information systems to provide the information required for decision-making in public and private organizations. Thanks to their multidisciplinary and comprehensive education, our graduates can pursue careers in almost any field requiring technical problem-solving skills. Our graduates can work in a wide range of positions, including network administrator, software developer, web design specialist, and project manager, particularly in areas such as mobile systems, e-commerce, and decision support systems.

In our Department of Management Information Systems, where there is a compulsory preparatory year and 30% of the education is delivered in English, students can take not only field-specific elective courses but also general elective courses. In addition, our students' English proficiency is supported through Professional English courses.
