What is the Double Major Program (DMP)?
Double Major Program (DMP): A program that enables students enrolled in an associate or undergraduate degree program to take all the courses specified by another department at their university, successfully complete both programs within the same period, and obtain a second associate or undergraduate degree diploma. (It is a Degree Program.)

Double Major Program (DMP) Curriculum of the Management Information Systems Program

The double major program curriculum consists of all courses included in the undergraduate curriculum of the Management Information Systems Department. The equivalency of the courses must be evaluated by the Department's Exemption and Adjustment Commission.

Double Major Program (DMP) Application Requirements

  1. The student must have successfully completed all credit-bearing courses in the undergraduate program taken up to the semester in which the application is made.
  2. The student must not be registered in another double major program. A student cannot apply for or register in more than one double major program at the same time. However, a student may apply for or register in a minor program in addition to a double major program.
  3. A student may apply to a second undergraduate degree program at the earliest at the beginning of the 3rd semester and at the latest at the beginning of the 5th semester of the undergraduate degree program in which they are enrolled as their major.
  4. At the time of application, the student's cumulative grade point average in the major program must be at least 3.00 out of 4.00, and the student must be ranked within the top 20% of the students in the major program in terms of academic achievement.
  5. Students whose cumulative grade point average in the major undergraduate degree program is at least 3.00 out of 4.00 but who are not ranked within the top 20% of their major program may also apply to the double major program, provided that they have a score equal to or higher than the base score of the relevant year for the program they wish to pursue as a double major.
