The project aims to develop an energy poverty-based health model that will enable the analysis of the long-term effects of energy poverty, which occurs in different dimensions among households, on individuals’ health conditions.

5) Doç. Dr. Pınar ÖZKURT from Our Department Conducts Research on Sustainable Energy and Thermoelectric Materials at the University of Zaragoza, Spain
 
Doç. Dr. Pınar ÖZKURT, a faculty member of our department, was a visiting researcher at the University of Zaragoza, Spain, between 7 March and 3 May 2024, where she conducted collaborative research on the laser-based production of thermoelectric materials for energy efficiency in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 7 of the United Nations. The focus of her visit was to conduct research activities aimed at contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 7, which promotes access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all.
6) Res. Asst. Sidar AĞDUK from Our Department Participated as a Scholarship Holder in a TÜBİTAK 3005 Project
 
The project titled “Analysis of Disputes in the Construction Sector Using Machine Learning Methods and a Decision Prediction Model,” led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Savaş Bayram, a faculty member of the Department of Civil Engineering at Erciyes University Faculty of Engineering, and involving researchers including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emrah Aydemir (Department of Management Information Systems, Sakarya University), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cemil Akçay (Department of Architecture, Istanbul University), Lecturer Mahmut Sarı (Technical Sciences Vocational School, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University), and Expert Arbitrator Derya Karademir (Turkish Employers' Association of Construction Industries), was supported under the TÜBİTAK 3005 – Innovative Solutions in Social Sciences and Humanities Research Projects Support Programme. Res. Asst. Sidar AĞDUK participated in this project as a scholarship holder.

COST Action: CA21143 - "Transnational Family Dynamics in Europe" (TraFaDy)
Dr. Özlem İPEK will contribute to WG4 and WG5 by conducting research on the health and subjective well-being of transnational families, as well as data collection and empirical methods in this field.
