On May 15, 2025, within the scope of a seminar organized by our department, Assistant Professor Serkan NAS delivered a presentation titled “Forecasting the BIST Electricity Index.”

During the seminar, analysis methods for predicting the electricity sector index traded on Borsa İstanbul were discussed in detail. Studies related to the interpretation of financial data and decision support systems were shared comprehensively with the participants. Our students had the opportunity to gain practical knowledge in financial forecasting and acquired valuable insights into current academic and industry approaches in this field.
