The second phase of the social responsibility project titled "Little Hands Coding II – Preparing for the Digital Age", organized by the Tarsus University Department of Management Information Systems and coordinated by Research Assistant Zeliha SEZER ERGİN, has been successfully completed.

As part of the project, with the participation of our first-year students, an introductory-level training on robotics coding and algorithms was provided to children aged 10–12 at the Mersin Children's Home Site under the Ministry of Family and Social Services. The aim of the training was to support the children's analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, while also introducing them to technology and helping them explore their interests.

Throughout the activity, the children engaged in beginner-level coding exercises and had the opportunity to grasp the fundamentals of algorithmic thinking. Supported with hands-on examples, the training offered both an educational and enjoyable experience.

We extend our sincere thanks to all the students who contributed to the project and to the institutions that provided their support. As the Department of Management Information Systems, we will continue to carry out our social responsibility initiatives with dedication.
